Health Career Scholarships Available from GCMH Foundation

The Grundy County Memorial Hospital (GCMH) Foundation Board is now accepting applications for four $1,000 Health Careers Scholarships that will be awarded for the 2010-2011 school year. Eligibility criteria include:
- Students currently enrolled in an accredited healthcare career program leading to licensure or a clinical laboratory degree
- Students must have completed at least six months of their healthcare program
- Students must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours) for diploma or undergraduate programs and/or at least part time (minimum 6 credit hours) for graduate programs
- Students must reside in or have graduated from a high school in the Grundy County Memorial Hospital service area of Butler, Grundy, Hardin and Tama counties
- Cumulative Post-Secondary GPA maintained at 2.5 or higher
- Traditional and nontraditional students are encouraged to apply
Scholarship applications are due by 4:30 pm May 31, 2010.
